If your child is sick when our clinic is NOT open, please call the medical exchange (501) 373-8633. We have nurses available to answer most of your questions, and a physician is always on call to help with urgent issues. Please call before you take your child for after-hours care. Many of these visits are unnecessary and may not be covered by your insurance company without prior authorization by your primary care physician. There is an after hours pediatric clinics at Arkansas Children’s Hospital if it is determined that your child needs to be seen right away. If your child has a life threatening emergency, call 911 and have the ambulance take you to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Emergency Room.
